Description:
Game Setup: The game is played on an 8x8 checkered board with alternating dark and light squares. Each player controls a set of pieces typically differentiated by color, often red and black, placed on the dark squares at the start.

Objective: The primary objective is to eliminate all of the opponent's pieces or to block their movements so they can't make any legal moves.

Piece Movement: Players take turns moving their pieces diagonally forward on the dark squares. Regular moves involve advancing one square diagonally, capturing an opponent's piece by jumping over it diagonally, provided the adjacent square is empty.

King Pieces: When a player's piece reaches the opponent's back row (the farthest row from the player), it is crowned as a "king." Kings gain additional movement abilities, allowing them to move diagonally forward and backward.

Strategy: Success in Checkers requires strategic planning, predicting opponent moves, and positioning pieces to create capturing opportunities while avoiding being captured.

Instructions:
Starting Position: Each player starts with 12 pieces placed on the dark squares of the three rows closest to them.

Moving Pieces: Pieces move diagonally forward one square at a time. Capturing is done by jumping over an opponent's piece diagonally, capturing it, and removing it from the board.

King Pieces: When a piece reaches the opponent's back row, it becomes a king, gaining the ability to move diagonally backward and forward.

Capturing: If a player has a capturing opportunity, they must take it. Multiple captures in a single turn are allowed if the player's pieces continue to create capturing opportunities.

Winning the Game: The game is won by either capturing all of the opponent's pieces or by blocking their movements entirely so they can't make any legal moves.
