Bloku — Play Free Online

Bloku (written Bloku! on Poki) is a block puzzle from Wonderkid Development, the studio's first game on that site, released in April 2025. It looks a little like the falling-block games you already know, but it turns the idea around. Instead of dropping pieces into place, you remove them: you trace shapes onto a tall, narrow board full of blue blocks, and every shape you trace correctly erases those blocks. New blocks keep pushing in, and the run is over if they climb past the top of the board.

How to play

1. Look at the dark panel above the board. It shows the yellow figures you are allowed to draw next, such as a straight bar of four, a small pair, or an L shape.
2. Click on a blue block and drag across neighbouring blocks to trace one of those figures. On a phone or tablet you do the same with your finger.
3. If the path you drew matches a figure in the panel, the traced blocks disappear and you score points. Clearing a full row gives a bonus that pops up as a "+" number beside it.

The board in the game's screenshots is six blocks wide, so there is not much room to waste. Gaps you leave behind make the remaining blocks harder to trace, because a figure has to be drawn over connected blocks.

Score and extras

Your current score sits in the bottom-right corner with your best score just above it, and beating it shows a "NEW HIGHSCORE!" message. A round button on the right side of the screen offers a helper move after watching a short video, and when a run ends you can be offered a revive the same way. The menu has a sound toggle and a home button.

Tips

• Check every figure in the panel before you draw. The long bar is the most useful for clearing a column quickly, while small pairs are good for tidying awkward single gaps.
• Work from the top down when the board gets crowded. Removing the highest blocks buys the most time before the stack reaches the top.
• Try to leave rows that are nearly complete so a single trace can finish one off for the row bonus.
• Do not trace a shape just because you can. Ask whether the blocks left afterwards will still connect into the next figures.
