What MineFun.io is

MineFun.io (also written Minefun Io) is an online multiplayer game set in a world built from cubes. It was made by Vectaria, the studio behind Cryzen.io and Vectaria.io, and it arrived on Poki at the end of September 2024. You make a character, pick a map, and drop into a room with other players to race through obstacle courses, survive zombies or battle other teams.

Each game room has its own rules, so the same character can spend one match jumping across platforms and the next guarding a bed with a team.

Controls

• WASD or arrows: walk
• Space bar: jump
• C: crouch

MineFun.io also runs on phones and tablets, and the page works in both portrait and landscape orientation, so you can play it away from a keyboard.

Game rooms

Parkour

Parkour is the obstacle-course room, the kind of map players often call an obby. You run, jump and duck across narrow platforms and try to reach the end of the course without dropping off.

Bed Wars

Bed Wars is a team mode. Every team has a bed, and as long as it stands, fallen players come back into the match. Once the bed is broken, that team can no longer respawn. The aim is to guard your own bed with blocks and teammates while you push out to break the beds of the other teams.

Sky Wars

Sky Wars puts each player on an island hanging in the air. You collect blocks, lay bridges toward the other islands and fight whoever you meet. The void below is the other danger, so falling off an island is something to avoid.

Zombie survival and other maps

Poki's listing also mentions zombie survival modes and a choice of maps that runs from island settings to the classic obby world, for a total of nine maps.

Skins and playing with friends

Coins earned while you play are spent on skins that change how your character looks. If you want to play with people you know, you can open a private room and send them its room code so everyone lands in the same match.

Tips

• In Bed Wars, cover your bed before you go on the attack. Once it is gone, you cannot respawn.
• In Sky Wars, build your bridges with care. A slip into the void is as costly as losing a fight.
