You Monster (styled You Monster! on Poki) is a top-down action game from Shoom Games, the team behind Mine Line and War of Sticks. It came out on Poki in February 2026. You start as a small blue creature bursting out of a round hatch in the floor of a tiled facility, and the rest of the run is about eating, growing and beating every other monster on the map.

How a round plays out

The building is a chain of rooms seen from above, with doors and corridors connecting them. Neighbouring rooms are packed with zombies, and they are your food. Every one you devour makes you bigger and stronger. Parked cars, glass panels, wooden objects and steel pieces sit in the way, and the game's object list treats them as breakable, so a growing monster can smash a path instead of walking around.

Sooner or later you meet rival monsters. These fights decide the round: the goal is to be the last monster still standing. A red rival with a skull marker over its head is easy to spot against the grey floor tiles.

Controls

• Mouse: click where you want to go, and click to attack. Poki lists this as the main control.
• Keyboard: the opening tutorial also shows the arrow keys for movement next to a mouse icon.
• Phone or tablet: the game runs on mobile, and the build includes an on-screen joystick and touch bite input.

The build also contains hints for a charged attack, where the jaw winds up before biting, alongside the quick bite.

Meat, upgrades and new monsters

Kills and combos earn meat, the game's currency. Chaining eats quickly keeps a combo timer running and raises the meat you collect per combo. Between rounds you spend it on upgrades, which the build splits into three parts of your body:

• Jaws – your bite.
• Limbs – the legs that carry you.
• Armor – protection against other monsters.

There is also a monster store. Some monsters in it are locked behind crowns, which come in three tiers, so the store fills out as your crown count grows. If you are defeated, a revive screen can bring your monster back, and the end screen lists your kills, deaths, time and best combo.

Tips

• Eat before you fight. Size and strength come from zombies, so clearing a crowded room first puts you in a better spot against a rival.
• Keep the combo going. Moving from one zombie to the next without long pauses means more meat per round.
• Spread your upgrades. Jaws, limbs and armor each improve a different part of your monster.
• Use breakable scenery as a shortcut. Smashing through glass or a car is faster than looking for a door.
