Carrom Multiplayer — Play Free Online
More Board & Cards games
Carrom Multiplayer puts the South Asian tabletop game on a square digital board. Each side flicks a heavier disc, the striker, from its own baseline to knock the smaller pieces into the four corner pockets. The game comes from InfinityGames.io, the studio behind several board and puzzle titles on Poki, and it was released there in early 2026. You can play against the computer, against a stranger online, or with a friend in a private room.
How to play
Everything happens with the mouse, or with a finger on a phone or tablet:
- Slide the striker along your baseline to choose where the shot starts.
- Press on the striker and pull back. The direction you drag sets the aim, and the length of the drag sets the power.
- Let go to shoot. A drag that is too short is ignored, so you will not waste a turn by accident.
You have thirty seconds for each shot. A timer in the corner turns red near the end, and if it runs out the turn passes to your opponent.
The three rule sets
The board starts with 9 black pieces, 9 white pieces and, in most modes, one red queen. The first player takes black and the second takes white.
| Mode | How you win |
|---|---|
| Carrom | Pocket all 9 of your own pieces and also hold the queen. |
| Disc Pool | No queen on the board; the first to pocket all 9 of their colour wins. |
| Freestyle | Pieces score points for whoever sinks them, and the match ends at a target score. |
In the Carrom and Disc Pool modes, sinking one of your own pieces earns another shot, while sinking only the opponent's colour hands the turn over. The queen needs a "cover": after you pocket her, your very next shot must also pocket one of your own pieces, otherwise she goes back to the board. Freestyle skips the cover rule.
Fouls cost you. Pocketing the striker, missing every piece, or failing to cover the queen all end your turn, and a striker foul also puts one of your pocketed pieces back.
Modes and extras
- Computer opponent with Easy, Medium and Hard settings.
- Online play: search for a random opponent, or create a room and share its number so a friend can join. A rematch can be requested at the end.
- Coins and power-ups: claiming an achievement pays out coins, which buy aim hints and undo moves.
- Customisation: change your avatar, the board, the piece colours and the background. Achievements and a leaderboard track your progress, and your country flag shows next to your name.
Tips
- Clear pieces sitting near a pocket first; they need the least power and keep your turn going.
- Use the cushions. Rebound shots off the board edge reach pieces that are blocked from a straight line.
- Leave the queen until you have a piece of your own lined up for the cover shot right after.
- Shoot with medium power when the board is crowded. A full-strength hit scatters pieces and makes a striker foul more likely.
Questions about Carrom Multiplayer
How do you shoot in Carrom Multiplayer?
Slide the striker along your baseline, then press on it and drag back. The drag direction aims the shot and its length sets the power; release to fire.
What game modes does Carrom Multiplayer have?
There are three rule sets: Carrom with the red queen, Disc Pool without a queen, and Freestyle, where pieces score points until someone reaches the target score.
What does covering the queen mean?
After you pocket the red queen, your next shot must also pocket one of your own pieces. If it does not, the queen returns to the board.
Can I play Carrom Multiplayer with a friend?
Yes. You can create a private room and give your friend its number to join, or search for a random opponent online. There is also a computer opponent.
