About 3D Car Simulator

3D Car Simulator is a free-roam driving game by Faramel Games, a studio whose other Poki releases include 3D Moto Simulator 2, Cars Thief, City Rider and Top Speed 3D. It dates from October 2016 and runs in Unity. You pick one of three cars, choose a camera angle and cruise around its three large maps.

The three cars

Three buttons at the top of the screen, labelled Rally, Police and OldCar, switch between the vehicles, and the number keys do the same job. Each one looks and handles in its own way:

• Rally: a rally car suited to rough ground away from the asphalt.
• Police: a patrol car with a light bar you can switch on while you drive.
• OldCar: an old-fashioned vintage car.

A dashboard dial in the corner shows your speed in km/h along with the current gear.

Controls

The game lists its keys in a panel on the left of the screen when you start. This is a keyboard game; Poki marks it as not available on mobile.

Key	Action
W, A, S, D or arrow keys	Drive and steer
1, 2, 3	Select a car
Space	Handbrake
C	Change the camera view
Shift	Shift the car
E	Police lights on or off
R	Reset the scene
G	Reset the cars
H	Hide the key list

Getting the most out of it

A good way to start is to drive the same stretch of road in each car and compare how they behave. Press C to cycle through the camera views, which include a first-person view from behind the wheel. Once you know the keys, press H so the instruction panel stops covering part of the road.

Two keys undo trouble: G resets the cars, while R reloads the whole scene. To see the light bar, switch to the Police car and press E.
