Blumgi Soccer — Play Free Online

Blumgi Soccer is a trick-shot football game from Blumgi, the studio behind a whole family of Blumgi titles on Poki, from Blumgi Rocket and Blumgi Slime to Blumgi Castle and Blumgi Dragon. Each level asks one thing: get the ball into the goal from where you start, past whatever obstacles the level puts in the way. Poki released it in March 2024. It is laid out for a portrait screen and runs on phones and tablets as well as computers.

How to play Blumgi Soccer

The control is a single press. Click and hold (or touch and hold on a phone) to bring up the aim, adjust the angle while holding, and let go to shoot. The ball then follows the game's physics engine, a Box2D build bundled with the game.

You only have a set number of balls for each level, and the screen shows how many are left. Score before you run out to clear the level; if you run out, you restart it.

Worlds and levels

Levels are grouped into worlds, each a short run of levels set out in the game's level table. The game saves the furthest level you have reached in your browser, so you can close the tab and come back to it. There is also a skip option in the game.

What gets in the way

The game files name the objects that turn a simple shot into a puzzle. They include:

• Bumpers, in square and jelly versions.
• Portals that teleport.
• Glue surfaces.
• Crates and platforms, plus moving shapes.
• Defender players.
• Bombs that explode.
• Seagulls.
• Ropes and a bouncy ball.

Extras

Your player can wear different shoes, chosen from a shoes menu, and your save data also tracks a crown. The game also has confetti and fireworks effects for its celebrations.

Tips

• Take your time on the aim. Nothing happens until you release, so you can hold and adjust the angle for as long as you like.
• Keep an eye on the ball counter. The number of balls left is the real limit on each level, not a clock.
• Use the skip option if one level holds you up for too long.
