What Punch Legend Simulator is

Punch Legend Simulator is a boxing training game by the developer d954mas, who also made Mr Boomi and Blocky Universe. It came out on Poki in June 2024 and is built with the Defold engine. Your fighter is a blocky character who starts out weak, and the whole game is about turning hours of training into raw strength: hit bags to build power, take that power into the ring, beat opponents, and spend the reward on getting stronger again. It is closer to an idle or clicker game than a fighting game with combos. Progress is about numbers going up.

Controls

• Move: W, A, S, D or the arrow keys
• Punch / confirm: Spacebar
• Leave or pause: ESC

The game also runs on phones and tablets, where you use on-screen controls instead of the keyboard. The in-game hints follow the device: on a computer they tell you to use the arrows to move, and on a touch screen they tell you to touch and drag.

The training loop

The first prompt you see is "Beat punch bags". Walk up to a bag and keep punching; every hit adds to your power. When you feel strong enough, walk into the ring and challenge a rival boxer. Winning pays out coins, and coins buy upgrades. The upgrades come in two flavours: your soul, which affects how strong you are, and your looks, so your boxer can stand out as well as hit harder.

Several systems keep the loop going:

• Gloves to buy and equip.
• Rebirth, which resets your progress to start a new climb.
• Teleport to move between areas once they open up.
• Offline progress, which credits you with some gains while the game is closed.
• Daily tasks with a reward for finishing all of them.

Tips

• Do not walk into the ring too early. A loss costs time, while a few more minutes on the bags usually turns the fight around.
• Spend coins on soul upgrades first; cosmetics are nice, but they do not win fights.
• Check the daily tasks when you start a session, since finishing the whole list gives an extra reward.
• Rebirth feels like a step back the first time, but it is how long-term progress speeds up. Use it once your gains start to stall.
• Use ESC to pause or leave a menu rather than closing the tab, so your current session is not cut short.
