Forgotten Hill The Wardrobe 4 is a point-and-click horror puzzle game from FM Studio. It is the fourth chapter of The Wardrobe series, after The Wardrobe, The Wardrobe 2 and The Wardrobe 3, and it was added to Poki on 30 October 2023.

This time the main character is a dentist whose practice is not earning enough. He owes a hundred gold coins, the day the money is due is close, and his brother lies ill at home and needs looking after. His only way out is a wardrobe left to him by a cousin who has died. The cabinet hides a secret that could fix everything, but only at a terrible price. The opening is told in sepia picture panels: the dentist slumped over a table with dice and stacks of coins, the dentist at work in front of a large clock face, and the wardrobe glowing with light.

How to play

Everything is done with the mouse. You move around the office by clicking, you click things to pick them up, and you click again to place an item where it is needed. The game also runs on phones and tablets, where a tap does the same job as a click.

What you will find inside

The puzzles are set in the dentist's office and the rooms around it, and part of your job is to help his patients. Some of the things you will come across:

• A receipt from Doc. H.J. Miller, dental care, with an address in Forgotten Hill and a row of small symbols along the bottom: a mountain, a bridge, a castle, a field, trees and water.
• A toy train puzzle that uses small round landscape pictures, which ties back to that row of symbols.
• A dial covered in strange glyphs that works as a decoder, and a card marked with the same kind of glyphs.
• A sheet of drawings showing a moth, a sun, a bearded face, a crown and a shell.
• A book of Children's Rhymes with a picture of a winged tooth creature surrounded by teeth.
• Odd objects such as a narwhal figure, a wooden panel carved with a shark and a keyhole, and a rotten apple with a bite out of it.
• Your brother's bedroom, where he lies in bed beside a skull, a jug and a clock on the shelves.

Tips

• Keep the receipt from Doc. Miller in mind: the mountain, bridge, castle, field, trees and water symbols on it show up again at the toy train.
• The glyphs on the card match the ones on the decoder dial, so compare the two side by side.
