Finish the picture
Wacky Doodle Fixes is a drawing puzzle from 10x10 Games, the studio behind Basket Swooshes, Free Kick Screamers and Detective Loupe Puzzle. It came out on Poki in March 2025 and runs on desktop browsers, phones and tablets. Every level shows a cartoon scene with one thing missing. Your job is to work out what that thing is and sketch it in. Once the fix is in, the scene is complete and a short caption pops up, usually a pun about what you just fixed.
How to draw
There is only one control. Click and hold the mouse button, then move the cursor to lay down a line of paint. On a touch screen you do the same with a finger. The challenge is in spotting what belongs in the gap, not in drawing it neatly.
What the levels ask for
The level list in the game files gives a good idea of the humour. A few of the scenes and the captions they unlock:
- A dinosaur rocker who needs an instrument: "Jurassic Jam Session!"
- A mountain climber with no rope: "Hang in there!"
- A gap in a cliff path that needs a bridge: "Bridge to survival!"
- A pirate missing his leg: "Fashion meets piracy!"
- A scene whose light bulb has gone missing: "Let there be light!"
- A broken sum: "Now it adds up!"
- A world map with Africa absent: "The world feels whole now."
- A pair of clocks that disagree: "Clocks are on the same page!"
Not every stage is a plain picture. Some borrow other puzzle formats, such as a game of noughts and crosses ("Checkmate?"), a word search ("Bunny Trail"), a jigsaw with a missing caterpillar piece ("Missing link!") and a maze ("A-maze-ing work!"). Others have a twist in the joke: a boxer scene ends with "Unexpected Knockout!", and a scene with a man hiding under a bed closes with "A Kid Under my Bed!" The run ends on a closing "Thanks for playing" picture captioned "Now, it's complete!"
Tips
- Read the whole scene before drawing. The missing piece is often hinted at by what a character is holding, looking at or reaching for.
- Think about the obvious answer first. A climber needs a rope, a dark room needs a bulb; the joke usually comes after you draw the sensible thing.
- For maths and logic stages, solve the puzzle in your head and then write or draw the answer clearly.
